Dr. Ashish Khandelwal brings both practicing and teaching experience to his new position with Guam Radiology Consultants. Prior to joining GRC in 2012, Dr. Khandelwal practiced as a diagnostic and interventional radiologist at Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, Kentucky. He currently serves as a Consultant Radiologist at GRC.
Dr. Khandelwal grew up in India, where he attended Medical School. He graduated from the prestigious and internationally recognized University of Mumbai School of Medicine. He trained in radiology at The University of Texas at Galveston, where he completed a residency with a fellowship in Interventional Radiology. He completed a second advanced year of Interventional Radiology fellowship training at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
His high level of expertise has been recognized. He was given an academic appointment at the Kasturba Medical College and the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences, also in India, where he served as an Assistant Professor. He has been a welcome addition to our community. His skill set in MRI and Musculoskeletal Radiology has been particularly welcome. He is also skilled in Breast Ultrasound.
